Dr. Rainey received two Bachelor of Science degrees from Texas A&M University; one in 1976 in Biomedical Science and one in Veterinary Science in 1979. He received his DVM in 1980 from TAMU. At graduation, he joined a multi-veterinarian practice in Denton and in 1983 he purchased his own practice. He moved his practice to its present location in 1999. He is a 13 year member of VIN (Veterinary Information Network) and a former VIN on-line moderator.


Dr. Rainey lives in Denton
 and has 3 daughters, two grandchildren, and a miniature schnauzer, Diogee.  

 

Sam on Cycle Dr. Rainey also enjoys riding his Vulcan motorcycle with the Southern Cruisers and is a member of the Patriot Guard Riders and the American Legion.  He is a former Marine and Navy Corpman. 

 


Diogee is usually at the clinic holding down a chair, tail-wagging, barking at "strangers" or waiting for a hand-out. Diogee is a past winner of the City of Denton's Stupid Pet Tricks Award in association with the City of Denton's Dog Days of Summer Festival. He's very fond of going to work and "helping out". dog at computer
